Hi!

¡Hola!

Hallo!

Hi! ¡Hola! Hallo!

Paulita Pappel is a Madrid- and Berlin-based filmmaker, performer, and feminist pornographer. She works as a director, producer, and intimacy coordinator, and is an outspoken advocate for a sex-positive, consent-based culture.

After studying Comparative Literature in Berlin, Paulita followed her passion for cinema and sexuality by entering the adult industry as a performer. Over the past decade, she has built a multifaceted career that bridges mainstream and adult film. She has worked as a director, producer, scriptwriter, casting director, and performer, creating both feature-length and short films that have been screened and awarded at international festivals.

Paulita is the co-founder of Lustery, a platform celebrating the authentic sex lives of real-life couples, and the co-creator of HardWerk, an independent studio for cinematic hardcore where she directs and produces original content. She continues to create and perform in her own work—for the joy of it—as a way to reclaim representation and explore desire on her own terms.

Since 2013, she has been involved in curating the Pornfilmfestival Berlin, and in 2023 she took over as the festival’s director. In 2024, she gave a TEDx talk titled “Rethinking Porn: Why Shame, Not Sex, Is the Problem,” offering a powerful argument for the cultural shift toward ethical, shame-free representations of sexuality.

In 2023, she published her first book in German—an unapologetic reflection on sexuality, representation, and feminist porn—which will be translated into Spanish in 2025.

Paulita is fluent in Spanish, German, and English.
